Do they go dim the whole time your windows go down or just for a second? Sounds like your battery may need replacement if they dim the whole time.

Mine dim any time you press the window up or down button. If you hold it down while driving, the lights keep dimming. From what I understand this is normal and seems to just happen because the car draws too much power or something

Must be normal, but ridiculous. I replaced my battery with the optima yellow and the problem is not as bad, sometimes not even noticable.

Normal. :yesnod: However, there are degrees. Any high-drain switch-on will dim the lights a bit, sometimes for just an instant or two until the system compensates. Some take longer than others; often a window going down or up takes such a short time, it stays dim the whole time.
