Will a midpipe and over axle straight pipes from c6 fit my c5z.
Here is the picture on the setup. Any help will be appreciated this site has helped so much!!
^^^ Yep it's going to be the rearward most portion of the over axle that's going to contact the tub storage bin. It's of a different design on the C6 than the C5, which accounts for the C6's more streamlined exhaust layout.
If you're getting the setup for an absolute heck of a deal you may be able to have a local exhaust shop mandrel bend you a tail pipe that clears the bin. Then just hack those tips off and run them on the tail pipes.

At that point he may as well just buy some tips and have an exhaust shop do it all. Unless there is something special about that X or the other pieces (cats, resonators?). No?

I get ya but I don't think it's a complete waste. The only portion that would need significant altering is the over axle portion at the point of the storage bin. Remember also that buying just tips that look presentable like those dual tips can be a good chunk of change by themselves unless you want something simple, ricey, or you get a good deal.
For the cuts and new piping I'd think the OP wouldn't be out more than $150-ish. Obviously will pay for the rest of the install if can't do it at home. It'd ultimately depend on how much of a deal this setup is being acquired for. If it's not far off from what a good setup used from a C5 could be acquired then yeah I'd just wait or source another C5 specific setup.

I don't see how that setup will work on a C5 without some serious modifications, but good luck with whatever you do. If you go through with the purchase, let us know how you made it work.
The lower hanging part of the trunk can be removed if that would provide enough room for the two pipes. Here's a picture of mine that was done for a different reason:.
