11:1 Compression Pump Gas?
Check FIC injectors bet he can set you up with something that fits your budget. You can always do head porting later its not a big deal to pull them off. You will NOT regret the extra stroke, cam will be fine dont worry about the proverbial perfect build do what you can afford, learn and enjoy
I have a forged 408 in my 98'. My car has LT headers, LS6 intake, and 243 heads w/ BTR .660 springs and trunnion upgrade. Special cam from Martin Smallwood tailored to how I drive / want the car to behave. .08 wall pushrods. 3400 stall converter. SLP 25% UD pulley. Dbl roller TC. I still have the stock 28lb injectors, but the car is tuned for them. It runs very, very well, but I can max out the injectors at about 1/2 throttle. I have a set of 42lb injectors that will be swapped out when I do the FAST 102 intake and new heads.
BTW, you WILL have to tune the car when you install the new motor....it will start up and run, but not well, and not for long before the engine will die out. The new engine will move far more air, and need more fuel at all operational parameters,....keep in mind that the computer won't otherwise know that there's a bigger air compressor in the engine bay, and will constantly be trying to figure out what's wrong with the 346!
I hope this helps....PM me if I can do anything for you.

Fuel pump and injectors, got it! Basically everything in the motor is being replaced. Forged balanced rotating assembly, ls7 lifters, hardened pushrods, ls6 springs (small cam). The stock heads are mainly because I don't have money. They will be ported and polished. I don't plan on a turbo or supercharger. The build edges on conservative as opposed to ***** to the wall as much power as i can squeeze out of the thing. Stock manifold, K&N CAI. I fully understand being proactive about drivetrain and suspension, but I have a limited budget and i do not intend to stress the drivetrain past its limits at this time. Yes, unfortunately the pervious owners of the car didn't do the most fantastic job keeping the car up. But for now a good power increase will do fine. Lethal Performance here in San Antonio is doing the tune. Thank you for helping me realize this is more than just a H/C swap! I've always needed some sense slapped into me
