So When I did my cam and Valve springs I also Did brand new Exhaust valve stem seals all around. The seals probably have around 1500 miles or less on them and upon me taking the heads off I noticed that only one Exhaust valves has a very little amount of oil on it. Rest of the intake and ex valves are dry.
If these are brand new Valve seals what could be the cause of the oil getting into the exhaust port? Any one have a guess?
Im probably going to wind up removing the valve, spring and seal and looking them over. But from inspection they look fine.
Not sure what seals you used, but sometimes they will come off and ride up and down with the valve letting oil leak past the seal. This would only be the case with seals that don't have the integral spring seat. Bought aftermarket seals for a Nissan once and they all did this. OEM seals corrected it.

Got OEM Exhaust seals on the intake and exhaust sides. Only one is leaking and its just Barely. But its there. These are the ones with the seat integrated into the seal which was a GREAT Idea. I think ill just swap that one out if I can. I wonder if the stealership will just sell me one. I cant remember if they will or not. Im gonna have to go look.
