Replace or rebuild alternator?
Bad diode(s) in my alternator. I've read that members have had problems with some aftermarket alternators not working with the C5. I have a 2000 MN6. Any suggestions?

Have your alternator rebuilt. 
If you cannot find a qualified shop in your area then look for the proper replacement ( I believe the brand that is installed and works is a Valeo) for your car but DO NOT give up your core until you have a replacement that works properly without "charge fault" errors being displayed in the DIC..
Lots of threads on the forum with horror stories of replacement after replacement alternators that produce charge fault errors.
