I'm looking to purchase an x-pipe to help change the burble/boat sound of my (i think) Corsa catback exhaust. I'm seeing the Corsa x-pipe is $100-$120 more than the Borla. Is there anything that makes the Corsa worth that much more? I'm not concerned with HP at all. Just getting rid of the underwater sound at idle.

Never used either of those brands of X-pipe, but I did use a Bassani X-pipe with my B&B Route 66 exhaust on the '00 I had. Worked like a charm to quiet down the drone and popping of that exhaust.
Surprised that you have a burble sound from the Corsa exhaut. I have the Indy Pace Car on mine and no such sound from it.
Thanks. I'm guessing it's a Corsa. It was on the car when I bought it from a dealer. It certainly looks like Corsa mufflers and tips. Absolutely no drone though.

I have the Borla X-pipe with a SLP Powerflo exhaust. The quality of the Borla X-pipe is top notch. Just follow the instructions to cut the stock mid-pipe to install. Its been on my car for about 6 years. Hope this helps.
I have the Corsa X-pipe and it solved the "rattle" noise from the stock H-pipe on de-accel. The pipe construction is very nice, if you look inside the pipe you can see where the two pipes are welded together. If memory serves there is a nice open "oval" where they meet that I would guess it is around 2-3 inches or so long and half as tall. It's not a true "X-pipe" as that would be the full cross-section but it solved my problem and runs pretty well. Install took me a couple hours but I was in no rush and just poking along. One word, I pulled my whole mid-section out to cut the old H-pipe out... Use high temp anti-seize on the O2 bungs when you reinstall, ask me how I know this should be done...
