I would be careful with that, rather see you use something like wd40, Evil Twin uses this !!!!

Yep. Definitely salt stains. Believe me, I know.
To neutralize/ remove it, I would spray the whole area with a vinegar solution, wait a few minutes and then rinse with a hose. That's it. You could also use a commercially available salt stain remover made for carpets. That'll work.
