Default Key Fob Question
Both key fobs for my '98 'Vette have failed (and I've tried all the do it yourself fixes). I understand that the 2003 and later units are more reliable, but need to know whether they will sync with my older car.

No they will not. You can upgrade the FOBs and the RFA with a kit from Cultrag.com for the 01-04 design.

They won't without a computer swap, the same computer handles tpms so you would have to have a wheel sensor swap also

I went to an aftermarket keyless with two fobs for 25 bucks and an hours worth of wiring
