Diagnosis please?
Went at it with a bike I have a 402 stroker stage 5 rpm trans and a c6 z06 rear end with 3000 stall and 3.43 rear gears I was fooling around with my buddies bike until the roads got Bumpy I let off I noticed a clunking type noise almost. And a belt squeal sound. Only when I pressed the gas. So I pulled off the road to look under the car to see if I blew out the rear end or the torque converter. No oil or fluid any where on the car. Only made the noise when I pressed the gas. So i shut the car off. After diagnosis didn't find anything dragging or any belts disconnected or fluid under the car. Went to fire the car back up.... starter is just spinning. No clicking just a spinning noise with no grab at all. All accessories worked. Just car wont fire. I'm thinking I shook the starter loose or shattered the gear my first thought was the tq converter but it allowed the car to move before I shut it off. I'm gonna get under the car tomorrow to check the starter or fly wheel. Car is a stalled automatic. Is my suspision of the starter being shaken loose due to rough road conditions and high speed sound right. Car was running but making some odd noises whenever I touched the gas
