Hey guys.... New to the forum here. Just recently cammed my 00 c5, and in the process I installed Texas speed longtubes, off road pipes, borla x pipe, and it's just straight pipe out the back. She's LOUD. What do you guys recommend for mufflers that's not too screaming loud, but still has a very distinct rumble that's noticeable? Thanks!
Where are you? Post that and see if you can find somebody with Ti's and/or other mufflers local to you that you can listen to...
I'm happy with my Texas headers, Magnaflow cats/X and Ti setup. If anything a bit quiet, but not by much.
The Ti's give it a nice, crisp sound with the cam. I really liked it on my previous z and that's what I'd like to eventually do to my current one. You can also to the bypass mod on the Ti's which would make them sound a little louder too. Something to consider.
Our #14210 mufflers have same-side inlet/outlets which work great for vettes, and help you maintain a nice, deep tone. You can find more info on them here:
