04 6spd vert... Chuck CoW street tune and throttle booster...
Not sure exactly how to describe it... but, when the cruise is set and you are going DOWN hill... it acts like it can't decide whether to speed up or slow down so, it just kinda lurches back and forth... doesn't do it going uphill or on flat ... only down hill. Some speeds and steepness of hill make it more pronounced... I can take it OFF cruise and just use the throttle but, it's still VERY sensitive...
Was just curious if it may be from the throttle response fix that he did... I LOVE it... and wouldn't change it back even if, that is what is causing this... or is it something else?
Thanks in advance for your input...

Im very sure that Chuck would be interested in hearing about this issue. I have the throttle enhancement in two cars and it doesn't do that. Give Chuck a call and see what he says.
I don't think it's the tune, but Chuck could have made a mistake.
Mine hunts like that during steeper downhills; it happens more in the Suburban than the Vette, but since they're both GM, I figured it was "in the electronics". I found it to be quite predictable in certain geography; it doesn't happen down all hills, and I learned to anticipate it on regular routes. Are you sure it's only started after the tune?

No it did it some before... I guess it's just more pronounced since the tune...
Are you sure it isn't your cruise control applying the brakes to keep you at a constant speed? I'm pretty sure my Vette "jerks" when going down hill because the car is braking to keep the speed at what I set it... At least I assume that's what's going on.

Hey there. Just saw this. Actually, we did extensive testing with the cruise control when we developed the
CoW BOOSTER! Could you imagine if the Cruise Control turned on and reacted as aggressive as the
CoW BOOSTER!???? Given that the cruise control is normally kinda jerky and "robotic" feeling and very
un-natural in the way it applies and removes throttle, the CoW BOOSTER! would have made it much worse!
It would actually have killed the CoW BOOSTER! product for us before it ever hit the streets because there was NO WAY
I was going to release that amazing product if the side effect was a hyper-responsive CRUISE CONTROL.
Thank GOD there was no connection between the two or the CoW BOOSTER! would have never existed!
Thanks Chuck... It's nothing to do with the way it sets or controls the speed at all ... just down hill it acts like it just can't hold the speed...
it's NOT a big deal anyway just a little annoying sometimes...
Maybe it's lugging some... I might try down shifting next time out and see if it helps the cruise hold it more steady...
Just a NOTE and some knowledge. I helped someone troubleshoot a cruise issue once. Found out that the cruise function actually resides inside the TAC Module.
I realize that "jumpy" may have been miss leading... it feels like a very subtle miss... although I know it's just the cruise relaxing and then picking back up the throttle... I can kick out the cruise in those situations and it's still VERY sensitive to hold a specific speed going down hill... and IT IS ONLY down hill ... NOT under acceleration, or deceleration but, just trying to maintain a set speed... I'm not sure I'm even getting across what it's doing ...it is VERY subtle...

Mine does the same thing I believe. When going down a hill it acts like its applying power then taking it off, applying power, taking it off etc...I just assumed it was trying to keep a constant speed. Kind of annoying though
