Got it back from extreme today..
I blew up my motor on the bottle a couple of months ago, so i opted to have a new 02' LS6 installed with a CaTech Stage III cam & LS6 heads (stage III). With minor tuning it put down 415 RWHP & 375 RWT. It still needs somemore tuning. I will put some miles on it before its final tune, its running a little lean on the top end. I think Nate can get 435 out of it, before we add the nitrous.

Thanks for being patient with us Glenn... we wanted the car to leave the shop right... and not rushed. Once you break the motor in, with out breaking it :D :eek: :crazy: :D , we'll finish the tune. I know I said 450... but I'm an optimist :yesnod: ... car sounded TUFF when you left... just don't bang it off the rev limiter until you have a few more miles on it :lol: :D :lol:

GM will only sell the LS6 in shortblock form. You can buy a LS1 as a full crate motor. I think the short block was around 5500 or so.

I think late 2001 all blocks are LS6.
I just found a forged stroker kit,,,, maybe bare block is the way to go.

Glenn- glad you are happy with the package. we will see you late next week for a final tune and tweek. we really needed it another day for the final tune but i know how bad you wanted to drive it this weekend. like Bill said, stay off the rev limiter! you hit the limiter leaving yesterday! :lol:
