Default 2002 z06 engine light

Will a dead battery and old battery after a charge start, give you the engine block light. Battery will not hold a charge. Joe

Joe... Joe... the C5 is very picky about VOLTAGE. Do yourself a favor and get a good quality battery, or you are asking for all kinds of problems.

thanks for the info needed another opinion. . A new battery this morning did the trick. No engine light. The car only has 10k on it. Thanks again joe

COOL COOL... NOW if you haven't or don't know IF the Column Lock Issue has been addressed DO yourself ANOTHER favor and make sure it has or get the LMC5 module from Compliance Parts and INSTALL it...

the lmc5 i did replace about two years ago easy fix to that problem. Joe
