Looking for part number or name
Hey everyone! I'm missing a couple of these on my Vette and was wondering if anyone knows the part number or the name of this item:
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

They are called a clip nut. They come in many different diameters and thread pitch. You can purchase them at many parts stores as long as you know what bolt you want to use them to retain. Take the bolt with you to insure you get the correct fitment. I can't help with a GM part number but you will pay 10 times the price if you do find them at a stealership..

Also know as "U-nuts", for obvious reasons.
Tell me where that one is used on the car and I may be able to find you GM a part number.
Good used ones can be bought from Marc at Vettenuts.net

Other places where I'm missing this piece is inside the engine bay where the front fenders are screwed in the top.

The actual technical name for that is a "speed nut". They got that name as they were designed to clip in place and did not require a wrench or socket to back them up. The design allowed for quicker assembly as the cars came down the line. Many aftermarket companies make them. Check for Dorman products at O'Reilly's, Advanced or Auto Zone. They come in numerous sizes. Hope this helps. Enjoy the ride!
