Hey everyone! I'm missing a couple of these on my Vette and was wondering if anyone knows the part number or the name of this item:

Thank you 8VETTE7, I appreciate the help! Yea, I'll avoid the stealership mark up

Also know as "U-nuts", for obvious reasons.

Tell me where that one is used on the car and I may be able to find you GM a part number.

Good used ones can be bought from Marc at Vettenuts.net

Thanks LoneStar! This one came from the underside of the car where the front fender and rocker panel meet up.

Other places where I'm missing this piece is inside the engine bay where the front fenders are screwed in the top.

In this particular view, item nos. 12, 13, 15 and 22 all carry the same part number: 11513599

Items no. 25 and 27 are similar but have a different part number: 11515638

The actual technical name for that is a "speed nut". They got that name as they were designed to clip in place and did not require a wrench or socket to back them up. The design allowed for quicker assembly as the cars came down the line. Many aftermarket companies make them. Check for Dorman products at O'Reilly's, Advanced or Auto Zone. They come in numerous sizes. Hope this helps. Enjoy the ride!
