Hesitation
I have a 1999 vette with heads/cam,etc...my problem is when I drive the car for 20 miles and park it to go shopping and when I get ready to leave..it wants to hesitate as I pull away..I have to push in clutch and push down the gas pedal and race the engine to clear the spuddering..its seems like when i'm pulling away and pushing in the gas pedal the car is getting too much gas(flooding)..any help would be appreciated.

Pull your dash DIC codes and see if anything is there. Pull them and record them. Then delete them and then go for a drive and pull them again before you turn the engine off.

has the car always done this?... did you recently have the heads/cam installed and tuned?

Do you have any tuning software? It sounds like the idle speed on startup when the engine is warm needs to be stepped up a little. HP Tuners will allow you set the idle speed for a given coolant temp range and also to set a stall saver rpm to prevent stalling as you described. The car might also benefit from adding more air to the mixture while idling. Bottom line is that it's a tuning issue.
