Default custom ? center caps

I currently have black GS wheels on my C5, I orginally was only going to use them for the track, but I really like the look and would like to keep them on all the time. My problem now is that I need new center caps, all I have come across is the GS, C4 emblem, which I do not want on my C5. Is there anyone out there that does custom center caps, or have any ideas as to what I can do? What I have now is pretty much a rigged version of what I want, I took the original caps and painted them black, but they look really cheap and that I don't like

Do you have any close ups of the original caps? Are they metal? Are they plastic? Perhaps you could get them powder coated?

They are a combination of metal overlaying plastic. My originals are trashed, all the plastic clips on the inside are either broken or cracked. I have them on with silicone.

might be a good question to ask the C4 guys.....

if I were you, I would find a set of 2000 wheels (or newer) and then take them to http://www.fixrim.com (or some place like them that is local to you) have them refinish the wheels in black and then machine the lip 3/8 inch (on a lathe, this is very common for them) and you HAVE IT...paint the C5 center caps black and you are good to go...selll your GS wheels and you will come out pretty cheap :)

hope that helps

Get me the dimensions...I have some nice center caps that came with my Kinesis wheels. They're black and say Kinesis Motorsports, but look really cool (domed plastic top). I think the c4 wheels used standard caps, so these should fit...They don't sell for much, I could ship them to you for $20 shipped...if you liked them.

Sounds like a good idea, any close up pics? The measurements are 3in on the outside and 2.5in on the inside between the clips. Until I splurge and get new wheels, I want something that looks good in the meantime. Thanks.
