Tranmission(6-speed) fluid question
The transmission fluid in my 6-speed from the factory was red,is there a different color fluid (blue) that dealers use for refill after transmission work at the dealer?? Thanks what color is the anaerobic sealer they use for sealing on rear axle repairs?

I used Mobil1 ATF fluid for the tranny and that is red in color. As for the color of the seal on the differential, others will chime in.

The fluid for the MN6 is actually Dex III automatic transmission fluid which should be red. Yes, I know that is what it says on the side of the trans. case. The rear seal was leaking fluid out and running down the breather hole at the rear close to the drain plug. It was repaired last thursday and now blue thick substance is leaking out the hole,could this be some sort of sealer? I'm going to check with the tech, at the dealer tommorrow.
