Default Unidentified leaking components ...

Hello All,
I finished removing all necessary suspension parts in order to rebuild, replace all worn parts, ball joints, bushings, front base spring upgrading to a Z06 springs front and rear .... anyhow once everything was removed i had a great chance to get under car and found a couple of possible oil leaks ... they seem simple i just don't know what they are, one is located beside oil filter, the other is below the starter. Pls see pics attachments and let me know ... Thx in advance

The VERY first thing that you need to do is clean the old oil off the LOWER PORTION of the block and frame. DO NOT hose off the entire engine as you will water soak some delicate electrical components. It is OK to spray on some engine GUNK on the lower portion of the block and hose that off. Then wipe EVERYTHING clean with some rags or towels.

Take the car for a drive and immediately re-examine the engine for new fresh leaks.

Here are some VERY COMMON places that can cause that sort of oil leakage:

The Engine Oil Pressure Sensor on TOP of the block behind the intake manifold (drivers side)

I had that much oil when my Harmonic Dampener seal failed and grooved the dampener sealing surface. I had oil from the front of the engine to the rear mufflers!
