I had heard that you can't tub a vert. But I personally know of someone that did it here in Dallas to stick 18x12 HREs into and the only thing is that the top down postion is tighter because it (the top) winds up sitting a little higher than normal.

One of our local guys (FUN4JT) tubbed his C5 himself. He did a Fanstastic Job too!! He looked at my Convertible and said it would not be a problem to tub. :smash:

It wasn't worth it to me, although 12s would be nice. I went with the 11.5 CCW and 335. No tubbing required.

Last spring, I saw two tubbed convertibles at LPE.
When I looked in the trunk, it was hard to tell that they were tubbed.
