Hi all,
Just picked up an 02 Z06 with ~67k. It's a heads/cam/exhaust car that puts down ~460 to the tire. It needs a tune up and I'd like to upgrade the fuel pump.
I've used 255lph Walbro's in my previous Cobra with good results and have seen folks talk about Racetronix, Walbro and LPE.
What are my options for a replacement fuel pump? I don't want to splice wires.

walbro 255 is a good pump... racetronix makes a nice drop in kit with that pump already assembled in the bucket with upgraded wiring, I would suggest getting their hotwire harness as well... basically it's a heavy gauge wire run straight off the alternator to the pump so it doesn't lose voltage through the factory wiring
I'm not wanting to rewire anything. I don't mind disassembling the pump from the bucket/container, so I suppose I just need the pump/sock and any other supporting consumable hardware (gaskets, hoses, etc).
Hmmmmmmm,,,, You want a better pump that pumps MORE FUEL and can supply the engine with a greater volume of fuel.
That pump will demand MORE CURRENT to work properly. The DINKY wires that GM used to supply the OEM pump will restrict the current that the aftermarket pump needs to run effectively.
I recommend rethinking the decision to use the OEM wiring. Hell, the OEM crap fails enough just running the OEM pump let alone supplying MORE CURRENT to run a better pump!

Yes, I'm looking to the aftermarket for a more efficient pump than the factory setup. Can you recommend something?
Looks like a racetronix setup is a pretty popular quality setup, I'll do some research on them. Aren't they a vendor on here? Any discounts with that?
