Default Pcm/ bcm

Hello,
I replace my power steering pulley.
Had coolant/power steering around engine, I used a water hose to clean it all up basically soaking the whole front of the engine and underneath. Couple days after pulley was done now the car does not start? No turning over had alarm saying take key out 10 seconds. I did not check codes yet.
I wanted to know is the BCM the abs control module? I know its stands for body control module but I cant seem to find if it is not the abs module.
Also the PCM location? Read that it is under the wheelwell on the passenger side. I am suspecting one of these to have gotten wet but not sure as to where both are and which one would be likely the cause?? Any one have any pictures they can send.

Thanks in advance!

The BCM is under the feet of your passenger. Look under the mat, there is a removable panel at the front of the floor.

The PCM is under the battery.

I doubt either got wet and besides just a hose on the front of the engine shouldn't hurt anything. The Pull Key message has nothing to do with anything at the front of the engine either.

You may have poor connections at the starter also... IF you haven't you need to check to see if you have an LMC5 module for the column lock issue...

Post the codes. Without them none of us can give you a good idea of where to look. Also provide any info on dash lights that may be on.

Borrowed from 8VETTE7:

Table of codes: http://www.c5forum.com/ayc/dtcdic.php

Write down all the codes includng the H or C or HC that follow each 5 character code. Post the codes in this thread and and list them under the sensor they show up under. ie 10 - PCM or 28 - TCS or 40 - BCM...... etc.

Default No Start... Starter?

I thought my starter had "GONE"..
Bought the $200.oo replacement.
When I pulled the old one, found that 'whoever' had worked on this before, left connections a 'tad loose'.
Result was rusted and burnt connections.

Cleaned 'em all up.
Reinstalled original starter.
That was Last Year.
Original starter still in there, and working fine.

Returned that $200.oo replacement to the store.

Thanks for all the posts. I had my battery tested and it was fine. I do not have the column issue. I have alarm code b2587 and b2592 and c1255
I tap the starter and can hear it disengaging but still no crank nothing
I tried jumping the purple and red wires on the TDR and jumped clutch switch and still nothing.
Still have 0 cranking
Measured key fob. 680ohms looks good also
Security light is not on
Out of ideas NO codes coming up now!?!

After more troubleshooting I think maybe something mechanical now. I can tap the starter and get it to click once and thats it until tap again. Thought maybe I had the belt to tight loosened off and same thing.
When the power steering pump blew up on me the engine temp sky rocketted in red zone and shut car w safety setting. Was running with no water pump for maybe 1 minute.
Only way to rule it out is to try and rotate ccw crank pulley. But how can I get access to the crank pulley bolt the rack is in the way is there an easy way around it???

NOT sure if your doing this correctly.... you need HELP to do it... have someone try to start the car, while they have the key in the start position WHACK the dang starter pretty good with a hammer... it SHOULD engage and turn the motor over or if it doesn't then it may not be the starter...
