Rear Wheel Hub Dimensions
Hello all,
I'm doing a C5/C6 brake swap on my '97 c1500 and I'm wondering if someone might have a spare C5/C6 wheel hub handy that they could verify a couple of dimensions from and save me a trip to the junk yard or parts store.
I'll have to get new axles because the truck is 5x5" and I have to get to 5x120.7mm for the C5 setup so I'm wanting to make sure my numbers are good before ordering. The numbers I have are either from people who have done something similar or online reference.
Hub flange diameter (where the rotor sits) 6.375" with a 0.250" chamfer to clear the inside of the parking brake drum.
Flange offset (from the face of the flange to the parking brake backing plate, basically the height of the hub without the studs) 1.905" based on the appox. height of the rotor.
Wheel/Rotor Register at 70mm(2.79")
