So ive been searching the forums and havent really found an answer to my specific dilemma. I just bought a c5 z06 seat off an 01 i believe and it seems to be missing a harness that my 00 c5 has, its the blue plug seen in the picture. When i connect the black plug the seat moves forward just fine and is able to pivot up but cannot move backwards. Is it missing a plug? Id preferably like to use the seat tracks off the new seat instead of my 00 c5
The blue plug is for the telescopic steering wheel. Your car most likely has the full memory seats also.
As a side note the seat frame for all C5 seats is the same, different foam and skins are used between the Std/Z06 vs Sport seats. Sports seats also have the lumbar and side bolster bladders.
would you happen to know as to why the seat only moves forward and wont move back when I plug the onlyharness that came with the z06 seat (blk harness) in?

Bad seat controls. My brothers car suffered from this. The previous owner had spilled something into the switch assembly.
It also could be a bad seat control module.
