Recently installed an Alpine head unit using the PAC ROEM-VET1 adapter harness in my Bose equipped 2000 Corvette. The mids and highs are fine, but the door subs are not getting any power at all. Local shop verified that I wired up the adapter properly. Fuses 5 and 28 are good. What else should I check?
The PAC ROEM-VET1 has built-in adjustment potentiometers to get the sound just right. I would suggest to begin there.
Regarding bass, here are a couple of suggestions:
1) Make sure the OEM C4 plug is connected to the PAC ROEM-VET1 harness, otherwise you'll have no real bass.
2) Also, make sure your BLUE WHITE from radio is connected to BLUE on the PAC ROEM-VET1. If you wired "blue white" to "blue white" instead, your door subs will not turn on and then no real bass neither.

I'm sure that's what I did, thank you!
Is this something that's listed in the instructions that I missed?
I just went through the instructions that came with mine again, and it mentioned nothing about the blue/blue white stuff. However, I see that their website now has another instruction sheet that specifically mentions it.
