exhaust noise
On my 2000 when the exhaust(corsa) gets hot at idle at a stop light I get this almost inboard boat motor sound occasionally. Does anyone know what this could be? This is my first C-5. Thanks for your help.

Is there a possibility that it just might need tightening? It sounds like there is a little rattling noise when you rev up the motor. Thanks guys.

Normal sound of the C5 exhaust on decel with the factory H-pipe. Can even be heard to a lesser degree with the factory mufflers. After market Cat back systems seem to make the sound more audible.
Installing an X-pipe in place of the H-pipe will significantly reduce the motor boat sound but not completely eliminate it.

My 2002 does the same thing when it gets Hot and at idle. Nothing to worry about, just the way it is. I heard noise with stock exhaust, put Borla Atak on, still hear noise.
