need info fast.....
What bolts do you buy to lower the rear. My friend just bought a 99 Hardtop and we are wanting to lower it tonight. What bolts do I need to get from the Hardware store? I know they are grade 8 but what length? Thanks, Kaley

IMHO you do not need longer bolts to lower the rear.
Just turn the bolts until there are two threads left showing on each.
I think this would be plenty for a start. Depending on what you do with the front (cutting bushings) You will not need longer bolts at all.

Just use what's available in the stock adjustment before deciding to drop it any lower. Has a lot to do with how -lowered-friendly his driveway and places he frequents are. If he finds he wants it lower after that, cut the bushings up front and put longer ones in the rear. :cheers:

guys, I have already lowered mine and he wants his to sit the same. I used longer bolts in the back and cut the front bushing totally off. does anyone have the sizes on the rea bolts?
