Oil leak
Got a small oil leak coming out of one of the drains on the bellhousing. What's up in there that could leak? Rear main seal?
Coincidentally, I installed a dual catch can setup and deleted the pcv valve. I've since reinstalled the pcv after I found about 3 tablespoons of oil after driving just over 100 miles.
Thx,
Mike

Thought the oil press. sending unit was above the bell, behind the intake. I can see this leak coming from inside the bell.
Praying for the oil pressure sending unit.

yes the oil sender is above the bell, but the bell is not sealed. Oil seems to find a way to seep, as I said the rear main would be more likely ???

Can anyone explain how adding catch cans and deleting the pcv would pressurize the crankcase enough to push oil out the rear main seal?

Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, If its a rear main seal, you need to consider replacing the CLUTCH and all the clutch other parts while you have the drive train out. Disassemble the Torque Tube AND replace the rubber couplers with new stock OEM GM couplers!
DO NOT reuse your pilot bearing! PERIOD!

You bet, if I had to go that far, I'd replace it all and do it right.
Fortunately, when I reinstalled the PCV, the leak stopped.

Also could be leaking from the cam position sensor or the the barbell, most likely is rear main however. Do preventative maintenance like bill suggested or you will be paying to do this twice.
