We always say first..."pull your codes". That how you know whats going on with your Vette. Report back to us with the complete numbers and letters and H or C.

CODES BROTHER,,,,,,,,,,, You need to read the DTCs by using the cars internal DTC reader and post them.

Read the DTCS when the error happens. Do not turn the ignition off and the read them.

IF you have tons of DTCs, clear them and the post what returns.

The c1226 is left front excessive wheel spin. That should go off and stay off. C1214 Sol Valve Relay Contact or Coil CKT Open I will let others chime in, but if it were me. I would disconnect the battery for say 10 minutes and see if that takes it off. However, some of our great experts may no exactly. I am a novice. But that is where I would start.

No... you keep at it... good way to learn... 8vette7 and Mr Curlee have had to set me straight on more than one occasion... I know I'll keep making mistakes but, maybe after 15 or 20 years on the forum I won't make as many...

1214 is your issue. Until you get that repaired (ABS FIXER) the EBTCM is in DEFAULT MODE and you have brakes just like a car with standard power brakes.

Take the electronic part of the module out and ship it to one of the ABS MODULE FIXERS..

EBTCM & BPMV module:
