Head light doesn't come up

Head light doesn't come up
This has been going on for years. Yes i do have HID lights but it was doing it before i installed them. It's only the driver side.
Things i did. Checked the yellow bumper to make sure they're all there and in good shape 3 of them. Next sprayed WD-40 on all moving parts.
I searched and only solution i found was that the bumpers where in bad shape or missing.
No codes. If i turn the *** it will work again for awhile.

I have the same issue with my PAX side headlight. I am assuming mine is a problem with the motor internals because all I have to do is move the ****, which is attached to the armature and it works for several cycles. I will get deeper into it during the winter hibernation. Mike

Does the drivers side headlight make a grinding noise when you close them?
There are 4 bumpers per side and not 3.
I'll look for the pic of where they are at and post if I can find it again.
