Void the warrenty if the cats are used and its california emissions legal? I am wondering cause i want to put them on my Z. Thanks for any comments and Proof of this from any Dealer would be great!
if they have not receive an emmissions exemption, which I doubt they have, then you are technically illegal. No problem where I live, you you may be screwed.
They shouldn’t void the warranty. If the TPIS headers were determined to be the cause of or contribute to a problem then the warranty wouldn’t cover the problem. Of course some dealers interpret things differently so it might be a hassle :boxing
By the way, if you put long tube headers on a California emissions legal C5 then it’s no longer California emissions legal because no long tube manufacturer has bothered to get a CARB number for the C5 application :cuss :mad :bs
My Service MGR and I have a deal as long as the main cats stay on the car they will continue to honor my warranty. I have TPIS with the pup cats removed.

How are they holding up Cecil? Remember to mark Sept 28th on your calender for the first Florida Corvette Challenge....you need to come and socialize if not raceing! :D

Tracy, they are holding up great. I hope to be racing on the 28th. I think I have all my tuning issues worked out.
