When I turn the ignition...
it at times feels like it "bottoms out" before making contact.
The place where contact is made is not always the same. Sometimes
it is well before the full turn and sometimes it's all the way to the bottom.
Am I looking at a flaky ignition assembly? :confused: ...GeorgeC

Try keeping pressure on the key as you are turning it. It could very well be a faulty switch, but I've seen switches go bad from a constantly-torqued key (too many keys or other stuff on the key chain).
