Default Engine noise

Hello all. I have the opportunity to pick up a 1998 Nassau Blue Convertible and have a question regarding possible engine noise.

I am familiar with the piston slap issue on LS1's so I'm pretty sure that's what the tapping noise is in the video but what is the whirling type noise? I appreciate all advice.

From what I can hear I don't like either sound coming from that car..............there are so many out there I'd keep looking man. Also with Summer winding down prices will be going down.

Thanks. I am only looking for the Nassau Blue convertible. From what I can tell, they are pretty hard to find.

May be a different noise entirely but.....

Check out my engine noise thread. I would pass on anything that does not sound right to you. Unless you are looking for a big project

Good luck with whatever you decide

97-2000 C5 have NO REPLACEMENT parts for the EBTCM or Steering Wheel Position Sensor. My recommendation would be to look for a 2001-2004.
