ABS module issue on a 99
I was looking at possibly buying a 99 C5 with a 425hp rebuilt LS6 engine (I am guessing from a 02-04 Z06 engine?), it's supposedly been rebuilt not long ago so I was quite interested in it. Only issue is that the owner said that the ABS module doesn't work (and the fuel gauge, but that seems like it should be a fairly easy fix). I am going to have a look at the car pretty soon, so I will post the codes after but I was curious as to how big of an issue that can be?
I have done a bit of research on this, and it looks like it is a common issue on early C5 and no parts are being made to fix the issue anymore and even getting a used one can be quite pricey?
On some older threads it seems like people were saying that it was not possible to have the unit rebuilt, although some mentioned that they can be rebuilt depending on what the issue was in the first place.
My other question would be, has anyone been driving their C5 without TC/ABS/ AH for a while with no issue? I had a 91 mr2 turbo for a while (which didn't have ABS, TC or even powersteering) and it was fine except in the rain where it could get scary (or when braking firmly during a corner).
Just wondering if I should keep looking or bite the bullet on that one

PS: that would be my daily driver.
