First thing to do--Get a high limit/low interest credit card
Consider changing the gears, even though you have the 3.15's, the 3.42's are great. If you're going to spend four to five hundred dollars having someone reprogram, wait until you do all your other major mods first. If you go with hypertech or similar, you can at least resell it later after all the other mods.
Good luck!!

I am leaning toward the diablo predator, so I can go ahead and change my fans, shift points & firmness, and play with the fuel trims. When my headers go on, the install shop agreed to do 1 pull before and after with the wideband O2 so we can see where we are.

Next up....3.73 gears. Is this too aggressive for the street? Seems like the 3.42, Yank TC, and Transgo (vsella, I know this is your fav  ) is popular, but I want to keep up with those dang z06's. :D

BTW, thanks for the chair vstella.... When I get the bill, I'm going to need it :cry

When you change your tires you will see how the car really drives. I did and it made all the world of a difference.

EMT's will go when they run out. I am planning to switch to Z06 chrome repro's, 18x9.5, 18x10.5 and run either so-2's, BFG KD's, or pilot sports. I still have a ways to go before the GY's die....unless I start spinning them :D :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :bb :seeya

I love mine, car is still very drivable. Intake, exhaust, and gears (3:73) would be a great start.

Watch out cause it won't end there...... ......

Are you a drag or road racer?

My suspension is highly improved with Bilstein sport shocks, Hotchkis sway bars, and an aggresive allignment. Next up for me are Baer Eradispeeds and Hawk pads.

Why not consider Goodyear Supercar F1 tires with your Z06 repro wheels? Check Hib Halverson's article at: http://www.idavette.net/hib/gyst/index.htm

Mostly drag, but I do like the twisties. :yesnod:

My main focus is the gears. For the A4, it seems to be the best bang for the buck. Wheel/tire combo will have to wait until the EMT's give up.

Thanks for all the advice.

Where are you getting your predator? How much and when will they release it? Will it allow you to program for 18s all the way around?

Pre-ordered through Bfb (supporting vendor). Should arrive this week if everything is on track. It will allow for tire size and gear ratio changes.
