Hey guys,
Newbie here needing help with a decision. After reading countless posts on suspension upgrade options, I am thinking about a Z51 upgrade from standard. I am thinking about purchasing a set of Z51 shocks, swaybars and springs for $500.00 from someone else. The only thing I will need to purchase are the bushings and endlinks. Is this a good price for the items. They are off a 1999 coupe and have 22,000 miles on them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, how do I get those little people faces on my messages? I double clicked one and it disappeared. They all stopped moving as if I killed one of their own!
It's a good move if you can ascertain to their condition; Endlinks have been upgraded in 2000. See Ken Fichtner Chevy (Bob in parts) for the bushings and endlinks. You also might consider getting the power steering cooler setup that came with the Z51 package. :chevy As for for the little people just click ONCE.
The 99 bars are smaller than the newer Z51 Bars - the shocks have age also. You can get a nice upgrade by buying a new set of Z06 front and rear sway bars with the new aluminum end links for a nice price for Fitchner and have a nice setup.
I wouldn't waste time or money with 99 bars since they were smaller. Go Z06, or aftermarket and Bilstien sport shocks. Someone had a special up here. :yesnod:
