Default Coolant Leak?

Hi Guys.

Last night, came out of Taco Bell and noticed the ground around my corvette was very wet. However, it had rained that day and I didn't think anything of it. This afternoon, running errands, my coolant temp. went up to 260+. I pulled over, opened the hood, inspected the coolant reservoir and found little to none. I looked at the underside of the 'vette and the passenger side is leaking continuously. Just about underneath where the passenger sits and about a foot ahead of that are two areas where there's a leak.

Do I have any reason to expect there could be a cracked hose? I've looked at cooling diagrams and I don't see any cooling agents going that direction. Have any of you experienced this, if so how did you fix it?

Since it is already leaking and pretty good at that, fill it with water and keep your eyes out for where it is coming from, you will notice it if its leaking like that. Could be a hose is loose, cracked coolant resorvoir, bad head gasket, bad coolant crossover, bad hose at the throttle body
loose clamps, fill it, then wait and see if there is any leaking, if you see nothing start it up and let ir tun for a minute or 2 and keep your eyes open on the passenger side.

the heater lines run along the passenger side but it could also be any of the other areas posted above and even the waterpump... leaks can be deceiving, fluids can take odd paths before they hit the ground but if it's leaking that much it should be pretty obvious where it's coming from if you take a good look at all of the components

The coolant tanks is a known item that can crack and leak. Might just be running along the frame and dripping farther back. I would suspect that first due to age and move on from there if that checks out.
