important to keep rockers and pivot support together?

important to keep rockers and pivot support together?
I was wondering how important it is to keep the rocker arms and the pivot support matched to the same location that they were installed at the factory (purchased used parts).
I purchased a set of used rocker arms and the seller was good enough to include the rocker arm pivot support also. These were to be used to asemble a slightly modified LS6. Well, upon unpackaging the items and being very careful to keep them organized on the work bench I happily left for work. Later, a helpful friend placed all the parts into a box for safe keeping ( all parts now mixed). Can't kill the friend, but don't know what to do now. I know the service manual states that they should not be mixed up...so can I get away with getting new pivots or am I screwed? :crazy:
