Default what to do at 57000

Today I got a new to me 99 vert..only 57150 on the clock it's a used car lot no history gem..man where do I start ?? oil's at 33% so I guess that's first priority. I can't go nut$ just yet 'cause I spent all my cake just to get the thing. Maybe some things I can check myself or start to get ready for..my tires (new) are inflated way too much I see on the bumpy ride home.(thank you DIC) I'll hit Big O in the morning.

Whaddya Think

Dealers credo "We check everything" LOLOLLL

Pretty car, can't tell the color though. Is it silver or pewter? Looks like someone recovered the seats. I would change the oil and do a few minor maintenance items and then drive it for a while to shake it out. Might want to even run those tires until you have some time to research tires, etc.

I'd change all fluids first and foremost if you don't have any records of when they were last done. Check the serpentine & AC belts.

Yea best way to go about things is to do all the fluids so you have a starting point/mileage for future maintenance.
Seats def have been recovered like vettenuts said. Looks very clean/well maintained for a 17yr old vert. Enjoy the **** out of it now

Very nice car you got - pewter is a great color.

As everyone has mentioned, change all your fluids and check all belts and hoses for wear and tear. I'd also check the date code on the tires as well as check how much brake pad you have left on each corner.

Good luck and enjoy the car.

Tires are brand new but they are an off Brand, ah well can't have everything. Brakes IDK yet. Oil looks transparent and clean.. oil life on DIC is at 32%. Tomorrow I start checking a few things myself.I lowered rear tires to 32 they were over 40, car stuck in driveway now can't reach the front valve stems til morning.

OK short report.,the oil being clean and pristine was explained by a tiny sticker in the windshield that I missed. My local mech noticed it and commented I need to re-set the DIC..that's on the to-do list.I did manage to let some air out of the WinRuns (god I love saying that) and at 32 psi this thing feels like a cloud on rails..a slight diff from my 230000 car..and did I say quick ?? damn this thing dances!!!

I'm going to put it on the rack for a good look underneath this week, and we'll have all fluids checked and changed if needed.
