C5 Headlights

When I shut the headlights off, both doors close but then the left one opens and stays in the open position. I can manually close it. Anyone ever have this problem?

could be stripped headlight gears would be causing that issue...just need to replace the gears...

It sounds like an issue with your bump stops. There are four on each headlight. Flip them around and see if that resolves your issue. The wear down over time and once they get worn enough they can cause the headlight to pop back up.

There is a TSB to fix those symptoms that calls for shimming the driver's side motor. You can play with some washers until you get it right, or you can get a set from Rodney Dickman for $2.75 here.
