I would like to know what this codes mean I have 1997 it seems that my volts seem to run in the 11.5 to 12.4 when I drive but when I start the car it is at 13.4 any advise thanks.
I also do not know what your three codes mean but I will respond to keep the thread alive. Are your codes History or Current, H or C? History codes often are of little use in diagnosing a problem.
The first code is p1518 C H the next is p1571 H and c1278 C I have Cartek H/C the car runs good but the reduce engine came up on DIC I cut the car off and it drove fine cleared codes and hasn't come up all night while I was out I think I need to take it to the dealer. Can't have the vette on the side of the road.
The 1518 means that you have a fault related to the "drive by wire" and thats why the "reduced power" mode comes on...Possible causes are a faulty TAC module, accelerator APP sensor,or TAC motor,or related connections...The 1278 simply means that the ABS traction control was inhibited (shut down) while the PCM fault was detected...
