1999 HVAC Blower Motor
Was out on a little cruise tonight and noticed the blower motor was not working. Checked the 30amp fuse and it was good. Pulled motor out to inspect it. Turned ignition on and spun the basket. It tried to start running for a second. Spun again and it started running normal. Reinstalled motor and it seems to working fine. Something probably wrong and will happen again. Would it be the motor or resistor that I should look to replace when it happens again? Thanks.

Thanks for the info 8vette7. I did check the codes before I dug into it. No HVAC codes were present. Only codes on the whole system were the "Recurring codes BO RFA U1096, U1064, U1016". When it happens again, I bench test the motor without trying to spin start it first. Maybe that will let me know if it's the module or motor.
