I'm stuck
I removed the console to get at the HVAC control. Sent it away for repair. I would like to completely remove the console to repair the cup holder lid,but cannot get past the connector that goes to the "airbag off" light. It seems to be an uncommon connector at least I'm not familiar with it. It looks fragile, looks like either end can come off but I'm stumped. Two small wings on one end just fold over when squeezed. It has a metal clip that holds it to the cover, is there something under that I'm not seeing?

That plug is a PITA, I've taken that panel off so many times and always dreaded that plug. I ended up snipping off the plug and using male and female connectors for the two wires to male it easy every time.
