C5 Exhaust Mods
I want to modify my exhaust for more HP and better sound. Can you give me your top 3 picks. Also, someone told me I could listen to wav files of various exhaust systems on the forum. Can't find it. Lil help please.

I want to modify my exhaust for more HP and better sound.
These days there is allot to choose from. Corsa, Borla, SLP, PRT,
Bassani, GHL, and a few others.
Most buy for what sounds best to THEM. :yesnod: The HP gain is
very minimal and most cost upward to $900. Comparitively, it's an
expensive mod for just a sound. I went 5-years and 62,000 miles
before I finally went with the GHL Exhaust after listening to most
if not all at shows.
A good many venders here most if not all of the exhausts that
are available for the C5. Also, a good many of the actual exhaust
makers have sound clips on thier web-sites. It gives you an idea
somewhat but it's no replacement to actually hearing the exhaust.

I have the Borla Stinger and it is loud and aggressive a wife would not appreciate it. Hook up with a local Vette club and hear a few. I am down in Arlington and a dozen or so guys meet on Cooper every Friday night. Check http://www.Chuckscruise.com every first Saturday night or so the Extreme Vette Club meets in Plano.

Recently I had the opportunity to hear the Stingers and have to say they ARENT any louder than my Corsa's. (BradC5's car) Price wise, the Borlas cannot be beat. Nate at Xtreme has an Ebay Dutch Auction for 550.00 and even Corsa run 800.00 on a GREAT day. :cheers:
