My beautiful new baby has a wiper not up to par, I'll need a set. Tough to find a decent cheaper set, maybe I'll go to the stealership. I can't even put the damn things on

You don't have to go to a dealership to get wipers installed. Go to Autozone, O'Reillys, or some other parts place. Most will install free of charge. You could even go to an oil change place but your selection will be more limited.

Thanks 3's, in Boulder City I have an AZ and Oreilly's .. last time for my last C5 I shopped both, they had limited selection and high prices. Ended up getting a set of "windex" blades at Kmart, I'd like to do a little better this time.

Bosch Icon's. They're the only blades I use anymore. Pricey, but live a LONG time, and perform just fine.

OK it's raining in BC so I'm trying to do this ASAP. Oreilly put on a Bosch but the housing was huge compared to the other one. I had them take it back off. Stuck up 2 inches in the windshield. I need a pair i guess, It says "Goodyear" on the wipers I have..good luck with that I say. Well I still got autobone or it's off to henderson Chev for the reaming..

OK my little saga has a happy ending..came home after the O'reilly fail for round 2, called the dealer for fun, after 20 min on hold I gave up, still raining headed for autozone..they had the goods, a pair of Bosch "Evolution" at 17 bucks each work perfect and look great. They had the high end ones too, but at 25. plus tax I like the evo's better..now it won't rain again for 6 mos just watch.

Bought BOSH at Wallyworld for mine. Took me 3 beers and a lot of **## words but finally got them on.

Hey SaxyVette,
Does the blade on the passenger side fit snuck on the glass while in off mode? My blade sticks out. Is not a snug fit until moves up on the glass.

I had to go look, Lo and behold the outside end of the pass side blade does NOT fit snug on the glass when parked..never noticed that before..

Currently running Goodyear (from Costco) blades on the C5. Had put them on the "other" car as well, but they starting to become very noisy (juddering) in anything but heavy rain as they aged. Replaced with Rain-X. Best ones I have come across to date, quiet and effective. Got them from Wallies. Need to pick up a set for the C5 before real winter sets in.

Good wipers are crucial for sure, the bosch evolutions I bought look pretty good, I think keeping the blade edges clean and unstuck to the glass is key to longevity.
