Installed an MGW flat stick short-throw shifter today. Bought the MGW lower body and shifter and it installed relatively easily given this was my first significant project. The video was helpful and detailed and questions were answered promptly by MGW.
Only issue I ran into was dropping a small allen wrench down into the tunnel. I got out my inspection camera, attached a magnetic attachment, started fishing around and things went from bad to worse when the attachment came off. So now I had TWO things down there!! Hmmmm thought I, bad idea! Ended up buying a flexible extractor claw tool and between that and the camera, found and extracted both items, and continued on my merry way.
Anyway, it took about 6 hours but it was worth it!! Raining out so I could not test it. Maybe tomorrow.

Also, best way I've found of extracting tunnel fugitives is to drive up an incline at a rapid pace and slamming on the brakes. Fugitives slide out of the tunnel and are left on the ground.

Looks great - I have one ready to go in my C5. I was running the previous version for a while. I am running the standard, round stick version of this latest gen in my dd C7 and it's excellent.
