Default Manual A/c controls

Greetings, I have a 98 with the manual A/C controls (see pic). My heat is stuck on and I need to replace the blend door actuator. I have searched and only found the location of the actuators on the dual climate control which I don't have. Can any of you guys help with the location?
Thanks
Ken

The actuator should be in the same, or similar place on the HVAC box. I can check the factory service manual tonight. And I thought I was the only C5 with manual HVAC controls....

You only have ONE actuator. I don't recall which side its on but, remove the drivers side under dash close out panel and use a good light and see if you can see it on that side of the air box.

PS... Its NOT monitored by the PCM/BCM so it will not throw an actuator error DTC.

Have you tried to Turn the HVAC controller ON and OFF ands/or remove reinstall the fuse that supplies the head/ actuator?

Bill

Our C5 has manual HVAC control too! And glad it does!

I bought some control panels a few months ago... they are getting harder to find and wanted some backup!

Thank you sir. I will try that! I have tried everything besides pulling fuses.

For manual HVAC, the blend-door actuator is on the drivers side. Remove the trim panel above the pedals. Remove the Bose module to the right/above the accelerator pedal mechanism. The Blend door actuator should now be accessable.
