Default Jumping time chain?

I missed a shift going into 4th and went to second causing a major over rev and loss of power could the time chain jump and cause the issues? I've checked valve springs and rockers there good and push rods are good? Motor runs like its flooded out or not us wing all cylinders

You should check to see if you have any diagnostic trouble codes, and post your findings. If you have a lot of codes you can try resetting them and then see which codes come back. If you haven't pulled DTCs using the Digital Information Center (DIC) go to post #2 in this thread.

Here is the PDF text version of how to pull the codes and the descriptions for the codes.

I doubt the chain jumped a tooth. They usually just break. You could have bent push rods and the valves aren't opening fully. You need to roll them on a flat surface to know for sure. Lets start with the codes first.
