You should check to see if you have any diagnostic trouble codes, and post your findings. If you have a lot of codes you can try resetting them and then see which codes come back. If you haven't pulled DTCs using the Digital Information Center (DIC) go to post #2 in this thread.
I doubt the chain jumped a tooth. They usually just break. You could have bent push rods and the valves aren't opening fully. You need to roll them on a flat surface to know for sure. Lets start with the codes first.
