Theres good info if you search. For the price, hard to beat. I got mine for like 297 shipped from partsgeek. Theres a thread with a $15 off code. Search
It's an aftermarket repro, take that for what it's worth. Some dorman parts I've had have been ok, some have been worthless. For just a little more, I'd probably hold off until a deal on a used legit LS6 pops up. I know there was a TB/Manifold combo for like $375 recently, and you could flip the TB and come out ahead most likely.

I have been totally unimpressed with Dorman and after the Jeep front CV shaft won't buy their products anymore. Lasted one year and one day before front boot ripped apart, exactly one day past warranty. Look for a used one, I think you will be much happier.

I did search and always do but not finding anything. What Keyword do you suggest.
i will use dorman on old 90s trucks, some connectors etc. even used a dorman exhaust manifold to repair an old jeep
would not use their stuff in performance applications. most i have seen is all overseas made copies. basically knock offs and sometimes that's okay. i just wouldn't do it here
I went with the Dorman LS6 Intake for my 2000 LS1
I just couldn't find any good used ones for sale under $500 this spring
when I bought it..
unfortunately life got in the way, and it's still new in box on my shelf.
Maybe this winter I can get time.
I plan on doing some "cleaning up" of it first
2020 Corvette of the Year Finalist (performance mods)
C5 of Year Winner (performance mods) 2019
has anyone done any real world testing with these to see how they perform vs an oem ls6 intake?... I'm just curious how close they really are in comparison or if they are even any better than the ls1 intake and people are just assuming and it's the placebo effect taking place... one thing I would definitely do before installing it is sand down the awful writing on top of it and paint it
