I recently purchased a great low mileage 1999 coupe, very happy, my first Corvette! While doing a brake job, I noticed that my rims are 2004. Are the TPMS sensors different for those model years? AC Delco 20807214 seems to be compatible for both years. I noticed some threads about conversions, connectors, etc. I have one that will not reset, so I will purchase some with my next tires

So basically I just need to see what I have before purchasing anything. Odds are that they are 1997-2000 sensors, I have no idea if the receiver was swapped. Thank you very much for your response. M

The wheels were probably swapped without changing the TPM system.
I just had something similar happen. New to me '04 C5. After suspension upgrade I took it in for alignment. I noticed the front and rear driver side wheels were not reporting. I had them look at it....both sensors were there and registering on their handheld unit but apparently wrong version. They swapped the two out with the correct version and all four are now reporting. The sensors were $150 each I believe (parts).
Lol, not when its up in the air and the wheels are off and they have the solution at hand. I could be off, it was in for an alignment and ride height adjustment after a I did a complete suspension overhaul, front and rear, and the whole bill was right at $320 so maybe it was $150 for both, diagnosed and installed.
