Have I thrown a code?
I notice when I start the car it says “Service engine soon” in the DIC.
I then have to hit reset to remove it but it returns every time I start the engine. It didn’t used to be like that. It used to say “Corvette by Chevrolet” then go right to the display function. Have I thrown a code? And if so, how do I check to see what code it is?
I’m sure it might be in my manual but I don’t have it with me now.

Hold the reset button down then hit the fuel button about 5x quickly. It will then cycle through and tell you if you have thown a code. If not it will say no codes. Hope this helps. :cheers:

Thanks, I'll go do that now. I may be back asking what the code number means. :lol:
BTW, if there is no code, would doing this erase whatever caused the message to appear in the first place?
